When I was stretching/transitioning I used Matrix Biolage Detangling solution and omgosh---that stuff is amazing. LOL, jokes - This conversation is really interesting! I also rinse out the tea then apply conditioner and sometimes it feels a bit dry, I think ill try the conditioner over the tea next time. I t-shirt dry my hair after rinsing and proceed to deep conditioning on top. I bought some marshmellow root to try this weekend for my rinse. I will update on how my hair turns out. When i do tea rins...Look at the volume of that bun. When i do tea rinses which i need to do on my next wash day, i apply a very moisturizing rinse out conditioner over the tea and let it sit for 2 mins before rinsing.
