I'm definitely starting to think about the year to come and the things that I want to work on throughout the year. I want too start working on mapping my plans to successfully achieving the following goals in 2015.
My Goals For the New Year | 2015
Goal #1. Continue with my hair goal. This time I want to get back to my focus on retaining length, but health will always be the number one concern. My plan is to avoid big cuts. I think I will start micro-trimming every few weeks or so to keep these ends in check. Of course I will need to keep these ends moisturized and protected so that I won't need those big cuts either. I'm hoping I can reach MBL by the end of next year! :)Goal #2. Finding the perfect skin care regimen. I feel like I've tried everything, but somehow I still get pimples, breakouts, and blemishes. I know what some of the contributing factors are (diet and lack of water intake...shame on me). The products I'm using could also be the problem. I think I will do a separate post to discuss my plans to improve on this. I did recently purchase a facial cleansing brush that I saw on Groupon and it is on the way. Looking forward to seeing what it does for my skin!

Goal #3. Getting back to my fitness goals. I fell off the wagon hard. I don't know what happened, but all the weight that I had lost over a year and a half ago seemed to find it's way back to my lazy behind. LOL! Time to hop back on that wagon to stay.
Goal #4. Upping my fashion game. Ya'll may not know this, but I don't have one! LOL! I can put something together every now and then, but my wardrobe is pretty boring. Most days I am a Plain Jane. Lol. I will try to challenge myself to be more creative with my wardrobe and incorporate more of the latest trends.
I am looking forward to another new beginning with the new year to come! Wishing everyone an amazing and blessed 2015!
What goals have you set for your self for 2015?
I love your fitness goal! lol! It's easy to fall of the wagon sometimes. I love to use honey and lemon juice on my face. They both work great at removing impurities and keeping the skin soft. The mix removes blemishes too. My goal is to eat more healthy food, like substituting white rice for brown rice. That's my weakness right now!
ReplyDeleteLol! Thank you, Nerline. Girl I just fell off and face planted! Lol. I've got to cut out the excuses. I am definitely going to try the lemon and honey facial. I had no idea that this was good for the skin. Good luck with your goals for next year!
DeleteLoving your goals, am like you on most of my goals!
ReplyDelete1. Fitness, hair, skin! lets do it! I find with skin it is a lot of what we eat, I have tried steaming and also looking for that face brush, 2015 here we come!
I completely forgot about streaming. I'm going to have to put that facial attachment that came with my hair steamer to use. 2015 is outr year! We got this Yvonne! :)
DeleteYour goalos are certainly attainable so just focus and you'll be fine. Face wise, i keep my hands out of my face unless i just washed them. I change my pillow case weekly, also flipping the side of the pillow each night. Lastly water is your best friend. All the best with 2015.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tomi. I'm going to have to be more conscious about keeping my hands away from my face for sure. I do it without thinking. And grabbing my water now!
DeleteYour goals are on point. I have similar goals. The holidays always throw me off my a-game but I tend to get back in the swing of it at the start of the year.
ReplyDeleteThat was my plan for 2014, but somehow I never got back to it. No more excuses for me this time. Good luck with your goals, Jay!

DeleteHappy new year!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a few tips i started with almost 2 years ago that totally changed My skin:
1. Only use foundation/concealers etc once a week. I know that ot is tough when you are not happy with your skin but even the most gentle concealer contains components that affect the skin cells. So only a very clean face cream om
2. Bring some cotton pads and a small bottle with which hazel and refresh you skin once or twice during the day
3 every night massage macadamia oil on your face as night créme. M-oil is stimulating reproduction of skin cells
4 dont overdo peeling. The skin needs to build up a healthy layer to glow. If the skin is healthy it Will turnover skin naturally. Peeling is literary scratching the surface and how can you expect it to shine?
5 use a natural deodorant. Tge body needs to transpire and get rid of toxics. If you block the natural ways you Will get build up inside of you and the body tries to get toxic out through other ways.
6. Remember, very few people older than 13 has a flawless skin. What you see is often a result of good make up skills. Just so you dont keep aiming for the impossible :)
Thank you so much, Lisa. These sound like great tips. I did not know this about macadamia oil.
DeleteI don't wear makeup except for a little eye liner and lip gloss occasionally so I can rule that out as an issue. Hopefully some of these tips will work for me. We shall see.
Thanks for dropping by and Happy New Year!
2015 is your year to get on and stay on the wagon. I too need o up my game on my skincare regime. Best of Luck and Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so! Thanks so much and Happy New Year! :)
DeleteI am 100% behind you on the face/skin care regimen. I feel my skin sometimes look the same as when I was a teenager. smh. I am taking note of all the wonderful tips you have already received above. So awesome to have such support! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYes, I definitely feel like I have the skin of a teenager. LOL! Good luck with your skin care goals as well, Kristal! :)
DeleteAll the best with your goals Andrea! I feel you on number 4 I am usually a laid back daily dresser but go all out for occasions and nights out and love to see the look of people who are used to seeing my laid back self when they see me all glammed up hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI definitely know what you mean, Lydz. It's like they think you're a completely different person! LOL! I enjoy comfort a lot more than getting dolled up. Hoping I can find ways to be fashionable and comfortable at the same time.
DeleteI love your goals and you have inspired me to make some of my own. I've been thinking about some things I want to do for 2015 and decided to put myself on a "no quit" plan. Your goals are definitely attainable and I can't wait to see the results. Happy New Year!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Robin! Let's make this a No Quit 2015! :)
